On second viewing, I hope you will notice that the 16 images are grouped into 5 quartets: upper left – the theme is spiraling; upper right – tiling; lower left – branching; and lower right – scaling. Then look in the center for the 5th quartet which spotlights some of humankind’s greatest responses to universal order.
