Woodblock Printmaking in Tuscany

with Sabra Field and Marie Weaver

September 14–26, 2008

$3,100/$3,600 excluding airfare

Sabra and Marie will teach another workshop in Tuscany at the beautiful Spannocchia tenuta near Siena! In 2008, we will look at stunning art, keep a sketchbook of drawings, and make prints during harvest time. A focus of the workshop will be on the Etruscan history of Tuscany. We will visit the ancient Etruscan town of Murlo and also make use of the Etruscan resources at Spannocchia. Additionally, there will be field trips to Arezzo and Siena. If you have some background in art and would like more information about the workshop, please contact Marie via email: marie@marieweaver.com.

To learn more about Sabra’s work, go to www.sabrafield.com. For Marie’s work, go to www.marieweaver.com. And to download a registration form or to simply learn more about our program as well as Spannocchia, please visit www.spannocchia.org/education/programs/2008/woodblock-printmaking/ (if the program page does not appear, at spannocchia.org, click Education & Activities, then Education & Enrichment Programs, then scroll to September 14-26: Woodblock Printmaking.)
