LEAF LIGHT



Autumn in a Vermont hamlet where the hills glow softly in September, the grass is still vibrant green and maple leaves have yet to fall. Our home and studio are the yellow building in the center. Our 1834 church overlooks the fire house, the community hall, the cemetery, the school house, a former store, and our neighbors.

As with its companion prints "Snow Light," "Blossom Light," and "Cloud Light," I cut the woodblocks and proofed them here at the studio in East Barnard. The giclee prints are made at Northlight Editions in White River Junction. The "Light Suite" is also available for purchase as a set.
