HILLSIDE, VERMONT

This recalls my many depictions of the tree-covered hillsides where I live in northern New England. Although not planted, our hillsides can seem as ordered as the fractal geometry construct called the Mt. Takagi formation created by repeated mid-point displacement of an arc and made visual on a computer. It is an algorithm without a random factor so it produces a greater symmetry than nature but I add a random factor as I drew. Paper size: 14in. x 14in. This is the 9in. x 9in. version of this print. An 18in. x 18in. version is available, as well as the entire suite. This is a Giclee print on archival hot press rag.
