This is a relief print in an edition of 100 from mdf board, a resin and sawdust product whose main virtue is that it neither expands, contracts nor warps with changing humidity and therefore allows for close registration. The subject is a recollected view of a canoe trip on the Missisquoi river in Northern Vermont which winds slowly through beautiful flat farm land towards low mountains. The shallow river is overhung with trees and is home to herons. Cows graze, corn grows. Small villages appear from time to time.
